Salary: £23,000 per annum
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, 10am to 6pm Monday - Friday. One Saturday every 4 - 6 weeks, and support of events after normal working hours.

Description: Goldsboro Books is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our growing team as a full-time bookseller. You will be one of the first points of contact for both customers and authors visiting the shop and will be a key team member. This is the ideal role for a book lover who would like to forge a career in the bookselling world.

Previous experience is not necessary (though is of course, a plus), but a demonstrable passion for books - across multiple genres - certainly is.

You will be fully trained on our systems and will play an active role in all aspects of the company, from dealing with customers queries, admin, looking after authors, social media, helping keep our website up to date, moving stock to being on hand at industry events we hold at the shop and reserving / processing orders. You will also be expected to assist in our very busy packaging department.

We are a small but deeply passionate team and the right candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of, and love for, the books that are currently on the market. You will need to be highly organised, have great communication skills and able to prioritise workloads efficiently.

Good computer skills and a keen eye for detail are essential - as is a good sense of humour!
