On this very special evening, authors Stacey Thomas and Emilia Hart will take the stage together for the very first time. In a candid and engaging conversation, they will share insights into their creative processes, the inspirations behind their latest works, and the challenges and triumphs they faced while bringing their stories to life.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session, making it an interactive experience where fans and aspiring writers can gain valuable insights from these rising stars.
Following the conversation, guests will have the chance to meet both authors up close and personal during an exclusive book signing session. STACEY THOMAS is a civil servant and a staff writer at Bad Form Review. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, USA where she participated in a 'Writing Historical Fiction Workshop' taught by Valerie Martin. She is an alumna of the Curtis Brown Creative novel writing course where she was awarded the Clare Mackintosh Scholarship for Black Writers. In 2021, she was announced as one of three winner of HarperCollins’s inaugural Killing It Competition for Undiscovered Writers. She is also a YA longlist judge for the 2022 Diverse Book Awards.
Her debut novel, THE REVELS, was published in July 2023. She is currently writing her second book.
EMILIA HART is a British-Australian writer. She was born in Sydney and studied English Literature and Law at the University of New South Wales before working as a lawyer in Sydney and London. Emilia is a graduate of Curtis Brown Creative’s Three Month Online Novel Writing Course and was Highly Commended in the 2021 Caledonia Novel Award. Her short fiction has been published in Australia and the UK. Her debut, WEYWARD, was published by The Borough Press in February 2023.
