DELIVERY SCHEDULE
We appreciate the time authors take to sign books for Goldsboro Books and it is important to remember that authors don’t always sign before or on the publication date due to heavy schedules, which means that there may be delays in sending your signed copy to you.
Covid-19 update:
It is taking longer than normal to both process pre-orders and pack books with the level of protection and care that we know you expect. Combined with the need to maintain a safe working environment, it is taking longer than normal to get books out of the door.
We are very sorry for the delays, and are working as hard as possible to get books to you in fine condition.
We will send the book as soon as we can after carefully packing it.
So, as a book lover / collector, please be patient. Signed and collectible books are always worth waiting for!
Availability dates are there as a guide and are subject to change. Please refer to these when enquiring about books undelivered when the publication date has passed.
We will process your order within 48 hours of stock being available and/or signed. Delivery times are outside of our control, but for UK deliveries, orders are shipped within 2-3 working days (it may take slightly longer during busy periods) by 1st class tracked signed for service.
Overseas delivery is also subject to Customs clearance procedures and your local postal service delivery schedule. Airmail delivery (with no tracking number) can normally be expected within 10-21 working days. However, it may take longer (up to 3 months on rare occasions) due to random Customs checks. We don’t use surface mail for customers abroad.
If you wish to have your order (4 and less books) sent via a courier, please email us for a quote.
If you purchase a number of titles that are released in the future we will send them separately and P&P will be charged accordingly to reflect the additional shipping cost. Time is of the essence in the Seller's performance of its obligations. We will dispatch orders by date of availability and will no longer be able to collate orders to dispatch together in order to achieve faster delivery times. We will not hold books for more than 2 weeks after release dates due to lack of storage space.
COLLECT FROM STORE
If you wish to collect your books from us rather than have them shipped to you, due to lack of storage, we are happy to hold them for up to 3 weeks after the order is processed. If the books aren't collected within a month, we will mail them to you at your own cost.
GUARANTEE
All books are packed professionally in bubble wrap and shipped in boxes.

If you are within the EU, VAT will be applied at the time of purchase - it will be calculated during the final stage of the checkout process, before you enter your payment details. You will receive a VAT invoice in addition to your order confirmation. There should not be additional import VAT required to have your book delivered. Pre-orders are for reservation purposes only as payment for the book and VAT is not taken at this time. You will be sent a separate link when the book is released to purchase with the relevant VAT applied. Due to EU VAT regulations, shipments will be made in small quantities of books weighing under 2kg to avoid additional fees at customs.
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK and the EU, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that Goldsboro Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer.
